Be Ready, Alabama! The weekend of September 30, 2007, has been designated for emergency preparedness in AL by the AL Governor's Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives. On the holy day for your faith-based group during that weekend, you are encouraged to include preparedness materials in your bulletin and newsletter, post preparedness info on your website, and speak to your congregation on the need to prepare.
